multiCIG are honoured to announce that we will be one of only three exhibitors at an up-coming Inside Government event to be held at the Royal College of Surgeons in Central London on Thursday 5th February. Inside Government present a series of interactive, information led, exclusive forums and events designed for people working in the public, private and third sectors, which focus on a range of government policy fields.
Each Inside Government event serves as a great opportunity for delegates to discuss and debate the most relevant policy areas with panels of speakers and policy experts. The function mulitCIG will be exhibiting at falls under the umbrella of their Health & Social Care offering and is entitled ‘Realising the Potential of Community Pharmacies’. Acknowledging pharmacies as the most visited healthcare organisations in Britain, with approximately 438 million visits per year, it will concentrate on the very latest policies and issues affecting chemists around the UK.
As we’re all aware, the whole subject of vaping is among the hottest themes making up the healthcare discourse at present, so we are delighted to have a significant presence in such a valuable forum. Therefore our attendance will give us wonderful exposure in front of health professionals, chief pharmacists, medicine management professionals, clinical support staff, policy makers, businesspeople and other stakeholders just as the topic of e-cigarettes and other vaping devices gains traction both within government and among the wider public.
We have always had enormous faith in both the quality of our multiCIG and multiVAPE products and in the benefits of vaping over the use of traditional tobacco products. With vaping having caught the public imagination in recent years, it can only be a good thing that these issues are now being taken seriously in policy circles.
We welcome all research currently being carried out and seek to encourage an open and honest debate that serves to increase our empirical knowledge and allows for a sensible approach to the formulation of policy in this area.
