As we all know, electronic cigarettes have caused a stir amongst the media with the worries that use of e-cigarettes in young people may lead to the regular use of traditional cigarettes in the future. Today the results of a survey into use of e-cigarettes in young people has ruled that the use of these products does not lead to smoking.
The survey, which focused on 11-18 year olds has proven that there is no real danger of them becoming addicted to tobacco by using e-cigarettes. The study showed that even though a small minority of children are trying electronic cigarettes, they haven’t led to widespread use or encouraged this group to take up smoking.
After new legislation came to pass earlier this year, stopping children under 18 purchasing electronic cigarettes, it has allowed the message to come across that they are for adult smokers who want to cut down or stop smoking all together.
MultiCIG does not market our products to under 18’s and maintains that our products are for over 18s only.
