Representing the natural evolution from the Bottom Dual Coil found in previous devices, whilst the two technologies have minimal external differences, the internal layout of the BVC features a singular, upright coil as opposed to two horizontal coils. The coil is the element of the device that heats the liquid, allowing it to be vaporised, but to get to this point the liquid must travel up the wick. In previous versions, a singular hole exposure to the wick meant that the coils could be left insufficiently saturated, burning the liquid and producing an unpleasant taste. The new BVC has four entrances to the wick, designed to feed more liquid to the coil in a shorter space of time, offering a superior taste, and an increase in vapour produced.
The Sabre’s BVC will utilise battery power more efficiently- one coil takes half the energy to support, resulting in longer usage time per charge.
The Sabre has also been designed with the upcoming Tobacco Product Directive in mind, and fully conforms to all regulations that will come in to force on May 20 th.
