Following his attendance at the recent Global Tobacco and Nicotine Forum in Brussels, our business development director Christian Mulcahy is currently in London at E-cig Europe 2016.The event, which is Europe’s most established B2B e-cig meeting, is aimed at helping manufacturers, suppliers and distributors to comply with TPD regulations.
The conference is 100% focused on the fast-growing e-cigarette sector.
A host of industry experts have been lined-up to speak over the two days, including
Beryl Keeley, E-cigarette Notification Scheme Lead for the MHRA; Ricardo Polosa, Director of the Institute for Internal Medicine and Clinical Immunology at the University of Catania, in Italy; and Karen House, a specialist adviser at the Leicester City Stop Smoking Service.
The event will examine TPD regulations in the UK, to provide an understanding of what they mean to the industry and to consumers.
There will be a roundtable discussion looking at the implications of Brexit on the industry, and some guidance about marketing e-cigs in the wake of TPD.
Keynotes will also examine the health-related aspects of vaping, the next generation of vapour products and where future growth will come from in a newly-regulated environment.
Christian said: “The event has been very illuminating so far. For multiCIG, it’s all about being here, showing our support for some of the speakers and subjects and building social capital, as well as getting a better understanding of trends in the industry, how TPD may impact the sector as a whole and what the future holds.”
